Wise behavior when in the woods that how a question an attendee who followed the debriefing of the material in place of a member of my Nature Lovers. Nature lovers or anyone who likes outdoor activities ought to know how must act wisely and behave when in the woods. Behaviour and attitude wise this is very important when we do outdoor activities like cross country and mountenering, bond out or just day trips around the forest.
Even that did not even think about approaching the forest even if no one knows how to behave and act the sage in the forest, who knows one day lost in the woods (hopefully not).
As we understood, from 180 million ha (some say 'only' 135 million ha) of forests belonging to Indonesia is experiencing deforestation (forest damage) are very severe. Allegedly only 23% that is still in good condition and free from deforestation. Therefore a wise attitude and behavior when in the woods is very necessary so that the activities we do not make natural forest and getting damaged.
Some of this can be regarded as a wise attitude and behavior when in the woods.
* Not doodled tree trunks and rocks in the forest. Behavior doodled trees and rocks in addition to destroying the beauty of the beauty of the forest, can also hurt the tree. Why? because this action can cover the stomata (the place of exit and entry of air, ie, CO2 and O2), which indirectly will interfere with the exchange of air from a plant cell to the environment and vice versa. Forests have an important role in reducing air pollution.
* No catch, injure, and kill the animal inhabitants of the forest. Disturbing behavior of animals (animals) that live wild in the forest even though the animal was not including the rare and protected animals can disrupt the ecosystem balance.
* When camping in the woods, which have been used where available. Or if there is not a place to camp, redeeming part of the forest rather roomy and flat without the need to cut down trees, even if only a bush, shrub or small tree.
* Do not leave cigarette butts that have not really dead. Although only a small ember, but cigarette butts can be one cause of forest fires, especially during the dry season.
* Do not leave trash, mainly inorganic waste such as plastics and cans. Plastic waste takes hundreds of years to decompose naturally. And for not degrade, the plastic waste will contaminate the forest, damaging cycle of air exchange in the soil, poisoning the land and endanger the creatures live in the woods.
* Keep garbage we produce in a special container and then throw in the trash that should or outside the forest destroyed or annihilated. It would be better if the waste contained in the forest part is taken.
* Use twigs or leaves that have been broken or falling during a bonfire. Behavior cut down trees to build a fire can destroy a forest.
* Put out a fire if it had been done to actually go out, including the remaining embers. Clean the place where the bonfire.
* Do not bring back plants or animals from the forest. Keep your good memories during your stay in the woods in the camera image or a video camera as a by-by.
Attitudes and behavior in the woods wise this looks simple and small but it gives a great benefit for the preservation of the forest. With wise behavior like this means we are able to enjoy without hurting.
