Besides introducing the Toshiba Libretto, the first notebook to sail a double, Toshiba also introduced a thin and light notebook (ultraportable), the newest in the celebration of his 25th birthday in Jakarta. Latest thin notebook is Toshiba Portege R700.
Toshiba Portege R700 design is slim and lightweight making them easy to carry anywhere. 13.3-inch notebook has sailed ketebalnya only about 1 inch (2.57 cm) and weighs 1.39 pounds.
"Toshiba will continue to innovate to get the thinnest notebook PCs, but in terms of thinness also has its limits, one inch may be the thinnest," said Taro Hiyama, Senior Manager of Toshiba's Digital Products Management at its launch in Jakarta, Tuesday (06/07/2010).

Portégé R100 will be introduced to the market in September with a starting price of 1349 dollars. For the Indonesian market, while the new Portégé R700 will be released with the I3 and i5.
