Paris Embassy in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Indonesia held a cultural evening at UNESCO House, 25 Avenue de Suffren, Paris, France.
Approximately 1250 invitations present consisting of government officials, members of Parliament and Senate, the diplomatic community, journalists, the French society, and citizens of Indonesia who live in Paris.
Indonesian cultural night was held to welcome Tari Saman, which is currently nominated for entry as an "Intangible Cultural Heritage" UNESCO, an election will be decided in July 2010.
Operation of the night was the appreciation of Indonesian culture to the international society, especially in France for the attention and sympathy given to the recovery of Aceh and Nias after the tsunami disaster in December 2004.

Arts Team Aceh Darussalam on the cultural evening performances featuring some dances, among others Peumulia Jamee, Phok Teupeun, Gevel, Saman, Kipah Sikarang, Meeting head, stamps Sabilillah, Rampoe Aceh and Aceh music.
The visitors amazed chuckle cultural night dances of Aceh, especially dance and Meeting Saman head. With the accompaniment of live music, dancers with very fast movements, rhythmic, harmonious and perfect dance dances amid thunderous applause the audience that not infrequently stand up and shout "bravo, bravo."
The sound of flutes and drums blaring in the room that has a good acoustic architecture after the dance Jamee breeder, enthusiastically welcomes visitors looking down from the stage dancers handing out souvenirs typical of Aceh. Interaction like this is very positive for improving understanding and appreciation of the audience to art and culture of Indonesia, Aceh khsususnya.
