Tarpan last species to die in the natural reserve Askania Nova, Ukraine in 1876. Tarpan is a prehistoric type of horse that had wandered from the South of France and Spain eastwards to Russia, Tarpan died in the wild in the late 1800s. Tarpan extinction reasons include the destruction of forest and grassland habitats. Hunting is done by the farmers for fear that their crops will be eaten by Tarpan. There are various attempts to recreate the Tarpan through breeding, so that the horses are acquired at least resemble their ancestors have become extinct.
The Quagga

Last species Thylacine died in 1936 at the zoo Hobart, Tasmania. Tasmanian Tiger is a close relative of the Tasmanian Devil. Tasmanian tigers were hunted to extinction by poachers and farmers, although other factors such as disease, and human disturbance to the habitat may also play a role in their extinction
